Abstract
This review covers the topic of mobile technology integration for learning, some of its advantages and disadvantages, applicable methods for mobile interface design, ethical considerations of mobile technology, and human factors related to learning. The literature sources explored provide different approaches and insights to the analyses of mobile interfaces for learning, and the general consensus points to a positive review of mobile technology applications for learning. With more reported advantages than disadvantages to mobile technology use, further dispersion of its use seems eminent in the near future. Mobile solutions to learning have been shown to positively influence critical thinking skills, and enhance efficiency in educational settings. It’s critical to evaluate the usability and design methods of mobile interfaces to improve mobile applications for a more refined way of learning. Additionally, ethical considerations must be assessed, to address cultural and inclusive sensitivities, as well as information security. Taking these factors into account, the overall human-to-human and human computer interaction can be reformed to boost engagement and interaction.
